This is a great all round street manifold with the added benefit of the air-gap design over its Cyclone counterpart. This design allows ambient air to pass beneath the plenum which has a cooling effect on the incoming fuel/air charge thus producing more power. This isolation also keeps engine heat from transferring into the plenum chamber. It is a direct replacement for the stock intake manifold on Ford Cleveland 2V engines. This manifold will also fit 4V heads but there will be a port size mis-match.

Calflow manifolds are cast in high pressure steel dies rather than the pour-in sand molds used by other aftermarket manifold manufacturers. This type of tooling costs 2-3 times more than conventional sand-cast patterns, but the finished product is worth the additional expense. And because the cores (which form the internal ports and water passages) are mounted in steel instead of sand during the casting process, there is no chance of any core shift, which sometimes go undetected in sand castings.
